Land-based breeding
There is no doubt that we need to harvest more of our food from the sea whilst managing the ocean’s resources in a conscious way to ensure a sustainable future. Aminor has developed an advanced land-based breeding of Arcticas spotted Wolffish. Our production has a minimal impact on the environment and will never affect the wild population. This gives the consumer an opportunity to enjoy this unique delicacy from Arctic waters without endangering the survival of the species.

WWF recommendation:
Unregulated fishing and lack of research about stock status means that you should avoid eating catfish until there is more knowledge. The catfish species are vulnerable to overfishing because the reconstruction of the species takes a long time.
